Building Your Online Presence for Retail Businesses

In today's tech-savvy world it is so important for your business to have a strong online presence. Chances are your current and potential customers are looking for information about your business online and that means you need to present a good first impression to them with a simple website, engaging social media, and most importantly, accurate information about your address, hours, and products or services provided. 

To help you build this online presence the Economic Development Office is offering a new program that delivers one-on-one training to build a personalized website, setup your social media accounts, and provide the resources and tools you need to maintain it all. 

Here are the details of how this program works: 

Who qualifies for this program?

Businesses that do not currently have a website or social media for their business and are seeking assistance in creating an online presence.

How does it work?

We’ll work with you to develop a website that promotes your business online. Once the website is developed we will work with you to ensure your social media matches the look of your website and will provide resources and guidance to help you maintain your new online presence successfully.

What is included in the program?

  • A one year paid subscription for a single page website or online store enabled website 
  • Personalized photos needed to develop website and social media pages 
  • An easy to follow guide for social media posting and how to manage reviews on Yelp and Trip Advisor
  • Assistance with registering/correcting information on Google and Google Maps

What are you required to contribute?

This program is free of charge to you and in exchange for these services we ask for your commitment to spending the time with us on the development of your online presence and the time to learn how to use the tools we provide effectively.
