Prospective Tenant Guide: Wharf Pop-up

Midtown Holiday Pop-Up

While the winter season in Santa Cruz doesn’t give the quintessential holiday vibe, there’s a lot of opportunity to spread holiday cheer in the City. However, the City’s Economic Development Department wishes to change that narrative by creating a festive environment and inspiring the community to support local creatives and businesses in Santa Cruz.

For this project, the City is looking for a qualified vendor or multiple vendors or non-profits to activate the public parking lot in Midtown Santa Cruz by creating a series of holiday themed events or hosting a seasonal pop-up between early October 2023 and New Years Day 2024. The project scope includes securing the artists and vendors for the markets or product/structure for the pop-up, promoting the event throughout the extended holiday season, and all other logistical requirements for events or pop-up projects.
